What they have to say:
Though a relatively new celebration, people are talking about erasing the winter blahs by attending the WinterCity Festival. WinterCity festival offers a 14-day, citywide celebration from the end of January to the beginning of February.
A high spot of the festival is the sparkling cool beauty of the ice sculptures. Those attending will find delicious culinary experiences, unique free entertainment and a showcase of Toronto’s vibrant arts scene.
For two weeks the spotlight is on Toronto’s creative and talented performers, the city’s diverse hospitality industry and fantastic world-class attractions. Winterlicious, the festival’s culinary element, showcases fine cuisine and great value at more than 100 of Toronto’s top restaurants.
What we have to say:
Two weeks of actions, fun, and game all being run right when it’s the very coldest in Toronto. If it anything is going to get you outside this is the event to do it. From the beautiful ice sculptures to the live events, this is just another great event being held by the City of Toronto.
