Everyone is invited to participate in Improv In Toronto’s 4th Annual Subway Dance Party.
This is a silent dance party on a subway. All participants come with their OWN MUSIC, on an ipod or mp3 player. We will get on the subway and one by one start dancing, until the whole train is dancing. And yet seemingly to no music

Being one of the people who runs this event, gives me somewhat of a biased opinion. But with that said, I wholeheartedly suggest you make your way out for this one. It’s a chance to let loose, and do something you would never do on any other day. One day a year to do something embarrassing, but at the time it doesn’t matter, because everyone else is dancing too!

Bridesmaidmania is a pub crawl for ladies in super tacky bridesmaid dresses. Check your closet, check the Value Village, check the Goodwill. If you’re not sure if a dress is ugly enough, just add some ribbons or cheesy fake flowers.
Gentlemen, feel free to either go in full bridesmaid drag, or just throw a pastel dress over your jeans. You might want to avoid high heels if you’re not used to them.

RULES:
All Funkless events are fragrance free. No perfume, no cologne, no creepy body spray. Let us poor allergic people have just one night where we can party & breathe at the same time. Thank you for being kind.
Bridesmaids drink like ladies. They get tipsy, not shitfaced.
You are responsible for your own safety, well being, and your safe transport home. Stick with a buddy. The organizers are NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING. If we were responsible people, we wouldn’t be doing stupid crap like this.

The BMM pub crawl route is SECRET. You will be informed of the starting point (Yonge & Dundas ish) a few days beforehand. There will be a LOT of walking. And a streetcar ride. We’ll end up at West Queen West.

Looks to be a fun time all around. A chance to go out drinking, with some fun loving, crazy people. As long as you are comfortable walking around downtown Toronto in a bridesmaid dress, then you’re pretty much ready!

MISSION SYNOPSIS: At 10:30 pm Saturday night while Yonge Street is filled with people, two guys(stunt men) are having a very loud argument on the rooftop of a 2 story building on the corner of St-Joseph/Yonge).They start to have a very physical confrontation and proceed to beat the crap out of each other on the roof. At exactly 10:31 the mobers will come running and station themselves in the street under the building. They start filming all the action and yell “fight!!,, be careful”,,don’t fall!” At exactly 10:33 it will appear one of the men is angrily hurled off the roof (a mannequin dressed like one of the guys). The crowd goes wild..screaming.etc. The mannequin on the ground is quickly covered with a white sheet and carried away. Innocent bystanders will be shocked.

Participants will be asked to upload the footage all over the digital universe with the tag “man gets thrown off building”. So bring along your digital cameras and upload the footage onto video streaming sites such as YouTube. We want to make this video to become viral!

Get off at Wellesley station and keep walking north until you hit St.Joseph’s street.

The Ministry of Silly Walks is taking to the streets once again in a wild and wacky public fundraising event that harkens back to the famously absurd 1970’s Monty Python comedy skit, featuring John Cleese as a British civil servant. This themed event calls upon people’s nostalgia and their creativity to create their own silly walk for the half-hour Walk-A-Thon that circles Yonge/Dundas and Bay/Queen. This nonsensical parade in downtown Toronto is sure to be a great boost to the spirit and bound to have the bewildered onlookers in stitches.

Not exactly sure what the turnout will be like for this event, but definitely worth a drop by. Lots of people walking funny, is interesting in itself.
