A joke protest, that protests protests and petitions against petitions
Event presented by Improv in Toronto
When: April 3 at 3pm
Where: Queens Park by the giant horseman statue
Cost: Free, but bring your own sign!
What they have to say:
Improv in Toronto heading a protest against protests, with petitions against petitions, and chants against chants. Lets change the world!
The video from our last protest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLY3wNaAiv8
This is protest is all in fun, and should not be taken seriously. We’re out to bring some smiles to some unsuspecting strangers. But that doesn’t mean we will be breaking character. As far as anyone is concerned, we are completely serious about this issue!
What we have to say:
I wrote the above paragraph as well, so I don’t have all that much to add (to myself). Other than the suggestion, that you should give this a try. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and a chance to meet a bunch of really cool people. Plus we’ll probably go get McDonald’s afterwards!

Readers,
For those of you who regularly check out TH for upcoming events, I’d like to say thanks! I truly hope the site has been helpful to you, and given you the chance to attend some great events.
But with that said, we are looking for some help adding upcoming events to the site. Doing this by myself has led to me becoming backtracked, and not being able to post some events on time, as well missing some altogether.
If you can help us keep the site updated, PLEASE send me an email through the contact form, in the top right of the site.
Cheers,
Cole

Donate towards a good cause, while receiving a mouth-watering item grilled over the barbeque.
Event presented by Bull’s Eye Barbeque Sauce:

When: Wednesday, January 13 between 11am and 3pm
Where: Yonge and Dundas Square
Cost: Free with a donation of a hat, gloves or a scarf.
What they have to say:
Canadians are braver than most. A little ice and snow isn’t enough to stop them from doing the things they love – like barbecuing. Anyone can throw a shrimp on the BBQ when the grass is green in the middle of the summertime but only a Canadian can grill up a t-bone steak in sub-zero winter darkness. That’s why BULL’S-EYE Barbecue Sauce is hosting Toronto’s first-ever outdoor BULL’S-EYE Winter Barbecue on Wednesday, January 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Yonge and Dundas Square. Torontonians are invited to come out and enjoy some tasty barbecue, while supporting a worthy cause – Project Winter Survival. Steak skewers, chicken drumettes and ribs basted with BULL’s-EYE Barbecue Sauce will be grilled and served up by the BULL’S-EYE Saucy Ladies. Bring a hat, gloves or a scarf to donate to Project Winter Survival and one of the BULL’S-EYE Saucy Ladies will hand over a barbecue snack. In addition to sampling food, you can also test your rodeo skills by taking a ride on a mechanical bull.”
What we have to say:
A chance to get (pretty much) free food. That is pretty much all you need to know. Add the fact, that it will be freshly barbecued, and the fact you will be supporting a good cause by donating, and this is one event that is worth stopping by.
